The council consists of 16 members, including parents/caregivers of children and youth receiving CYSN services. The council aims to represent all families, children and youth who receive services, and includes people with a diverse background of needs and abilities. Council members will make suggestions to inform the implementation of the framework and government will have an opportunity to learn directly from families about how services impact them. Minister’s Advisory Council on Children and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN MAC) will ensure the new CYSN Service Framework supports a broad range of families throughout the province.
